Fantastic place
Our lurcher needs to run around and let off steam occasionally but her recall is awful so this secure field is perfect. We can walk to it and even enjoyed the shade during the sunny weather. Will definitely and have already used it again! We love having a tired dog!

My dog loves it here
We have been sampling all the local secure fields recently, and this is one of our favourites. The area is flat and perfect for half an hour runs. There are a few things for the dogs to play with. My dog enjoys the large tractor tire There is also a hose by the gate so you can rinse your dog down at the end of a session. It does get quite muddy when it’s been raining, so wellies are advisable or waterproof boots and I bring an old towel to dry my dog off when I’ve rinsed him down. The only negative is that there seems to be a lot more dog poo left in this field and I’m quite surprised by that because the lady who owns the field has kindly at no extra charge supplied free poo bags and they are dotted around the field attached to the fence, so if you do have a day where you’ve run out, or you’ve forgotten, there’s no excuse for not picking your dogs mess up. Please be mindful and leave the area how you’d like to find it so we can all enjoy it

It was Hattie’s first time at a secure field today since we rescued her. She had the best time ever and it was lovely to see her play and run with a ball again. We now have one very muddy but very tired pup! Lovely secure field, great location and good equipment for training etc.

Brilliant outdoor space
A perfect outdoor space for our Golden Labrador, he loves every minute of being here, especially when there has been rain and he has big puddles to roll around in and get completely covered in mud – he’s a hippo really! Thanks so much for creating an outside wash station, it has made such a difference and allowed me to shower him indoors rather then having to do the pre-wash outside when I get home with him. Great location, good price, safe and secure and most importantly a place he can have a good run around and enjoy being a dog. Thank you.

Great price and location. Field does get waterlogged, although dogs love it after the rain. Would be nice if there was a tap to rinse dogs off after playing in the mud.

Convenient and tidy
Living in Crawley the location of this field is very handy. It is kept in a clean and tidy condition and has plenty of room for our dogs. I agree that a water supply would be handy however we bring some with us. Our dogs are more sniffers than athletes so the apparatus is great for the gymnasts, but avoided by ours! Always feel the dogs are secure and safe and I can see they are happy.

Perfect size and convenient location
A lovely size to allow my dogs to run around unleashed in a safe environment. It is so close to my house and so really convenient for me. Easy and simple to book and having choice to book 30 mins or 60 mins and repeat bookings is a great feature and very cost effective. Only downside is I have to bring my own water as there is only a small bowl left and is often empty. A tap with running water would be a welcome addition.

I have been to the dog field quite a bit recently. I was introduced to this field by my friend who does training there. Both of us now go on a regular occurrence to let out pups play. It is clean and totally secure. Best field I have used for my pup to have free run.

Puppies first play date
My friend and I took our pups to the field for the first time yesterday. We wanted a safe place to introduce the dogs and let them play off the lead. The field was well equipped and very easy to locate. The pups loved it and we will certainly book again very soon!

Nice big safe secure field, with a few obstacles for the dogs to play on and climb. It’s quite boggy after rain but my Bella does love to jump around in a muddy puddle – take your wellies! Half an hour for £5.50 is great value too

Fun at the field
We took our very small Jack Russell terrier to the Big Paws Little Paws secure walking field today. it was so lovely to let her off lead to run around and play knowing she was safe. We really enjoyed all the equipment for her to go on, over, through and under. It was very muddy but we didn’t mind. We did lose our tennis ball in the mud but have plenty more, hopefully another dog will enjoy it if they find it. We all got some exercise, our dog, us and even the children. We would definitely recommend and will be booking again. Thank you.

My dog thoroughly enjoys herself in the field, she is an aggressive dog towards other dogs and has to wear a muzzle and remain on the lead on normal walks so she loves the freedom in this field and it also provides a relaxing walking environment for me too! Highly recommend

5 Stars easy to book with easy access. Our first visit and we do not trust our Cockapoo (Rosie) off lead but this field was great she quickly understood commands walking by my side and running playing fetch with a ball. The conclusion is our dog is better off lead. We will definitely be using the field again.

Fantastic Secure Field
This was our second time visiting Big paws, Little paws secure field in Copthorne. This field is a great space where we can let our dog off the lead without any worries. On both occasions she’s had a fantastic time and ran around to her heart’s content! This conveniently located field is clean and well maintained, dog waste bags and a dog waste bin are provided, as is water. There’s also a bench to have a sit down on whilst your dog is exploring the field. We’ve booked up for next month already! Good value for money, so glad we found this field!

Our girl had a great time in the field. It’s great at last to let our beagle/cocker spaniel off the lead and let him run without worrying. This is a great size field where you can see your dogs all the time. Slots are going during the daytime or when I am unable to get to the field to work. It’s a shame the field does not have any flood lights for the evening, I’m sure they would get a lot more business. I would certainly use it after work.

A nice open space
We very recently adopted a dog. She still needs training so we haven’t let her off the lead yet, it was nice to let her loose in a nice open space without the worry of her running off. The field is literally down the road so it is very convenient and we will definitely be using the field frequently and it will give us an opportunity to do some training with her.

My dog and I come here on a regular basis. We love coming here as it is easy to book, I don’t need to wait for anyone to respond to me and it is very straightforward. The field is a godsend for me and my big bouncy dog who can be judged when out and about. (Due to her breed not her behaviour) It gives me the freedom to allow her to run around like a lunatic off lead and burn some energy without me having to worry about other dogs or people approaching us with no recall. I hope we can use this field for a long time to come. ⭐️

Fab Field. My dogs love it, we come several times a week for an hour. Only negative is the dog mess that other users dont pick up its not fair on the owner or other dog users to pick up !! So please if you are going to use the field please be resposible and pick up after your dog.

Last night was the first time we used this field. It was absolutely perfect, great size, bench for us to take a rest on (even though the dogs didn’t need one!), water butt (which Hattie decided was big enough to take a dip in!) and hard standing for parking. I have hired this field many times and feel very lucky to have such a lovely facility on my doorstep. Safe, secure and with easy access and today when I visited I found the added bonus of a large tree trunk and some tyres, which have been provided for the dogs enrichment. My dogs had a great time investigating these new ‘toys’. One of my dogs is extremely nervous and the chance for her to be able to run around off lead without any stress and now have the added stimulation of lots of sniffs is amazing. Thank you.

A real find
Agent using the really easy online booking system, my friend and I arrived and parked in the well thought out parking area and entered through the gate with hand sanitiser on it for safe use. The field is very even and you can see all the way round. There was poo bags hanging from the fence in various locations, so if you have forgotten yours fear not. The dogs loved it , there was a water trough for their comfort and a bench for us. Very well though our. The dogs had a great time and I booked for next week immediately on my return home.

Used for the first time today. Easy to book and find. Fencing was thoroughly checked by my two Houdini’s who went on to have a great time. Great place to work on recall without the worry of them disappearing. Loved the bench, hand gel and doggy bags dotted around in case you had forgotten your own. It was our first time of using this field today. It is just off the A264 and it was great that we could park just outside the gate. The field is a decent size and secure. Very boggy due to the time of year. My 2 dogs loved it.

Perfect for our littlest “paws”
We have two dogs, one is great off the lead and happy to interact with other dogs that we meet. The other, well he has to wear a muzzle and remain on a lead! This was our first visit and it was so lovely to see the two of them having a good run and enjoying themselves together without any worries! The little one was quite clearly enjoying a muzzle and lead free run! It’s a good size area and very secure. We will definitely be using it again. Wellies and plenty of towels are required given the recent weather but we were warned of that in advance so not only 5 star facilities but 5 star customer service too – thank you!

I went here last week along with my friend & our 2 pooches. Can park 2 cars right outside gate to enter field. Fence is very secure – had no worries about them escaping. Dogs had fantastic time running around & chasing each other. As expected you will need to wear wellies at mo with all the rain we had lately. We had 2 very happy & exhausted dogs at end of session. Had our Scottish Terrier booked in today. He is easily distracted and doesn’t do recall when he’s in terrier mode. Field is very secure had no worries about letting him off and watching his little legs go . As other dog owners has said there is hand sanitiser and Pooh bags just in case you forget your own. At the moment due to the weather the field is very muddy bring your wellies. I will be defiantly booking again . It’s nice to see your dog off lead and not having to worry about distractions and other dogs.

We took our 5 month puppy today to let him off the lead for the first time in a secure field and he absolutely loved it! My children thought it was great fun and they all came home very muddy having enjoyed a good run around! Field is completely secure, dog waste bags located around the field and hand sanitiser and spray on the gate so you can disinfect for the next users. All well thought out- thank you! Some off lead time
We have a rescue who when you think recall is going well, will see a deer, rabbit or a bird and recall is no more!!! So for the past 3 years its lead walking. It was so nice to bring her, she scoured the perimeter for a way out – and found none!!! And it was lovely to see her off the lead and running around.
